Anonymous asked: Could do with some help on one of the photos you posted in April 2011. The one captioned: Valeri Polyakov, Aleksandr Volkov and Sergei Krikalev arriving back on earth after a stay on Mir space station (1989). Where did it come from (I don't recognise the water-mark), and is it available in any higher resolution ? Check out Seiko7A38com and the thread about Jean-Loup Chretien's Yema Spationaute III (watch), also worn by the cosmonauts in 1988 and 1989, and you'll maybe understand why I'm asking.

It’s from here, so no higher resolution unless you want to pay unfortunately. I can’t help with anything else, any photos I have are already in that thread.

If anyone’s curious about watches that cosmonauts wore, there’s a little history hereFortis, a Swiss company, has been the official supplier of watches for the Russian Space Program since 1994.
